Okay, first of all…I am SO excited you’re here!
Like, genuinely checking my notifications way too often and doing a little happy dance when a new inquiry comes in excited. Here’s the thing…You aren’t just another session on my calendar. You’re a family whose kids won’t stay this little forever. A senior standing on the edge of an entirely new chapter.A couple with inside jokes and a love story nobody else has.A person who finally decided they’re worthy of being in front of the camera instead of behind it. And I think that’s pretty incredible.
The truth is, I don’t care if you’ve never had professional photos taken before. I don’t care if your kids are wild. I don’t care if your partner says they hate photos. I don’t care if you’ve spent three days trying to figure out what to wear. You’re welcome here. All of you. The messy parts, the awkward parts, the loud parts, the imperfect parts. Those are almost always the parts that end up making the best photographs.
Can I Tell You A Secret?
The photos people love most are almost never the ones they planned for. They’re the ones that happen in between. The way your daughter reaches for your hand. The way your son laughs so hard he snorts. The way your partner looks at you when they think nobody is paying attention. The wind catching your hair. The genuine smile that sneaks out when you’re not trying. Those moments can’t be posed. They can only be felt. Those are the moments I’m always chasing.
